Terms of Payment:
Half of the balance for your child's stay at camp is due by April 1st and the remainder no later than June 1st. If your child's account has not been paid by that time the registration will automatically be cancelled.
Refund Policy:
The $150.00 per two week session deposit is non refundable/transferable. Before May 1st the tuition paid (less deposit) is refundable in full when requests are received in writing by the Camping Services Office. After May 1st refunds will only be made for medical reasons prior to the camper's scheduled arrival. A doctor's written evaluation documenting the child's inability to attend is required.
Refunds are not provided when a camper's behavior warrants dismissal from the program or for instances when the parent voluntarily withdraws their child from camp for any reason.
Financial Assistance:
North Woods and Pleasant Valley Camps are open to all boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 18 years, regardless of income, ability, race and religion. Through the YMCA's ACCESS program, families who cannot afford the full price of a camper's tuition may qualify for reduced rates (up to 50% based on income and family size). In order to receive the member rate, the child or family must be a member of a branch of
the YMCA of Greater Boston.
